My story of owning a Thor Motorcoach

Year three of owning a Thor Motorcoach is looking like it will repeat the previous two years.

Because of this, I have decided to sell this Motorcoach

My price is $750K

This is less than what I’ve got in it.

YEAR 2024

So far this year, the coach has been at the dealer (Motor Home Specialist RV) for 7 weeks.

-> Took to Motor Home Specialist RV’s facility on 1/19/2024.

-> Picked up from Motor Home Specialist RV’s facility on 3/09/2024.

After being at the dealer for 7 weeks,  it still has unresolved defects that Thor can’t fix - doesn’t know how to fix. 

As stated before & for full discloser;

At this time, these are the known defects that are still open and not resolved;

-> The stereo controls (volume up/down & mute) on the steering wheel stop working (reported many times before)

-> The living room TV doesn’t receive local channels from Air (antenna), nothing to do with satellite (reported many times before)

-> Generator exhaust pipe is loose and rattles against to frame of the Motorcoach

-> Water leak over the bed during rain 

-> Not able to turn on the Floor Heaters. There is just a "Dash" displayed instead of "Off (the cause of this defect has not been identified & resolved)

-> Thor installed a "scratch & dent" washer unit in this new Motorcoach that does not work

I’m hopeful that Thor will do the right thing and buy back this Motorcoach. But I’m not counting on it.
